“The patter of tiny feet is a regular sound at Central Park Leisure Pool in Plymouth – and now parents can be assured it is one of the most child-friendly in the country.
The pool is among the first in the UK to get a stamp of approval in recognition of its parent-friendly policies, including availability of baby swimming classes, changing room facilities, pool temperatures and swim pant guidelines. It comes from Huggies Little Swimmers which teamed up with The Amateur Swimming Association and the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management to encourage more parents of young children to take their babies swimming regularly.
As part of the campaign, the Huggies Little Swimmers baby friendly pool directory is being developed to give parents peace of mind when taking their babies swimming.”
