“HACKNEY’s Clissold Swim-ming Club completed the London Graded League season last week by winning the final gala in the series at Leyton.
In doing so, Clissold totalled 139 points – the highest points tally any of the nine competing clubs have managed this season – and as a result claimed the league’s Points Cup for the first time.
Overall, Clissold finished third behind last week’s hosts Leyton SC and Northolt SC, from west London, in the league placings.
To celebrate clinching their trophy achievement, Clissold’s winning team assembled at their temporary home of the Kings Hall Leisure Pool, Clapton, to have their picture taken.
Clissold will use the newly re-opened Clissold Leisure Centre pool which re-opens next week as their base, as well as the Kings Hall pool from the start of the new year.”
