They are off!

Clissold’s swimmers have the go-ahead to swim the English Channel. At 5am on Monday 28 July, weather and tides permitting, the first swimmers will jump into the Channel from Shakespeare Cliff in Dover. This will be the start to swim a relay to the mainland. Two teams of seven swimmers aged 13 to 17 all from Hackney will swim the English Channel. Here are a few of them in their team uniforms sponsored by Stoke Newington First
