annual ASA fees due

Dear Clissold Swimming Club Members,

Your annual fees to the ASA, that is your insurance, is due – please ensure that you are up-to-date.

I am Merle White and as the new Clissold Swimming Club Administrator. Can I remind all members that the Annual Registration Fees are due now. It is essential that all money is collected by Friday 13 February 2009. Anyone who has not paid their Annual Fees by Monday 23 February 2009 will no longer be able to swim with the club since they will not be insured.

The fees cover Membership of Clissold Swimming Club and registration with the Amateur Swimming Association. The ASA provides insurance and no-one can swim, dive or play polo with the club or in competitions without comprehensive insurance.

The Fees are:

• £35 for Category 2, competitive swimmers
• £20 for category 1

If you are intending to compete this year in a local, regional or national galas or meets, it is advisable to join ASA Category 2 since you will not be able to compete without this coverage. If you do upgrade it is necessary to fill in a form to advise the ASA of this. These form scan be obtained from me at the times below or can be sent by post if you include a stamped addressed envelope.
Please note the dates and times below that I will be attending the pool sessions, anyone can pay at these times or send the payment to me as below.

There are three ways to pay:

I will be available at the pools regularly for anyone who wishes to pay fees.

1. Please pay by cheque payable to Clissold Swimming Club with the swimmer’s name clearly written on the back.
2. Money can be transferred to the club account by phone or internet banking, please use the swimmer’s name as a reference since it is very difficult to identify the payee without this. 3. Cheques with the swimmer’s name clearly written on the back can also be sent by post to:
