London Swimming are offering a range of master classes which are between 3-5 hours in length these will cover a mix of technical elements.

  • Before and after videotaping and review (except 3 hour)
  • Easy to understand drills and techniques
  • Progressive step-by-step instruction
  • Training tips, nutrition and recovery suggestions

Great for swimmers and multi-sport athletes of ANY age or ability. Karlyn’s teaching style is interactive, supportive and woven with personal experience.   Keeping the language simple, using a variety of examples found in any aquatic environment.

The goal of the sessions is to provide a positive and fun learning environment while teaching people of all ages how to swim faster with less effort. The step-by-step stroke progression used is easy to understand and apply and is effective for swimmers or multi-sport athletes of any age or ability.

Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen: Inducted into the International Masters Swimming Hall of Fame, is the 2007 and 2004 World Masters Swimmer of the Year and holds over 50 FINA Masters World records and 96 USMS National records spanning four age groups. Karlyn is also an open-water record holder.

Eric Neilsen: Has coached Masters since 1991, is a certified level 4 coach by the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA), and has been Karlyn’s primary coach since 1994. Eric is also an All-American masters swimmer, a 2:56 Boston marathoner and has competed in triathlons since 1985 including the Ironman World Championships in Kona in 2007.
