There was a bit of a last minute panic about swimmers for this gala, but in the end it all worked out well and we won! Fantastic news, and really well done to the team and coaches and helpers who made it all possible. It’s great to win a gala – especially on home territory. Special thanks to Joe, Ella, Gabriel, Daniel, Matilda O’R for helping poolside, and James and Molly with entrance, cakes etc. Thanks to all parents who helped with the gala.

Congratulations to Aaron on new U10 25m backstroke Club record, and to Freya, whose first gala it was and Isaac who were swimmers of the gala. It was difficult to choose as everyone swam so well.
Thanks also to all those who brought cakes and raffle prizes. The cakes sold like hot ones and the raffle was hugely well provided for. All in all we made about £340 which will not only cover the cost of the pool and lifeguard hire but also provide funds for the Club.
