We did very well in the gala on 12th July, coming second behind Epping Forest, but only by 11 points in the end.
We came first in:
- Boys 12 and under 2 lengths breaststroke (Luke W)
- Girls 11 and under 1 length breaststroke (Ottile)
- Boys 13 and under 2 lengths backstroke (Ivan)
- Boys 11 and under 1 length freestyle (Arthur)
- Boys 13 and under 2 lengths breaststoke (James K)
We came second in:
- Boys 13 and Under 2 lengths butterfly (Anthony)
- Girls 10 and under 4 x 1 length freestyle relay (Verena, Nadia, Gemma, Adrene)
- Girls 12 and under 2 lengths butterfly (Eve)
- Boys 12 and under 2 lengths butterfly (Luke)
- Girls 12 and under 2 lengths freestyle (Gemma)
- Girls 11 and under 1 length butterfly (Jamilla)
- Girls 12 and under 2 lengths backstroke (Eve)
We came third in:
- Mixed 11 and under 8 x 1 length freestyle relay (Isabel, Harry, Jamilla, Oisin, Eve, Erwann, jo, Adam)
- Girls 13 and under 2 lengths backstroke (Jo)
- Mixed 12 and under 8 x 2 lengths freestyle relay6 (Dottie, Arthur, Gemma, Harry, Millie, Erwann, Charlotte, James)
- Boys 12 and under 2 lengths backstroke (Luke)
Quite a few children achieved PBs in their individual races:

There were also a many unofficial PBís in the splits of the relays ñ Max, Harry, Inez, Anthony, Dottie, Ivan, Verena, Nadia, Gemma, Erwann, Oisin, Rene, Isabel, Jamilla, Eve, Adam, Verena, Ottile, Erwann, Oisin, Arthur, Harry, Erwann, James, Sean, Adrene, Ivan, Inez and Max .

Rene ñ under 12 25 m butterfly.
Everyone swam very well, and we have a lot to look forward to in the autumn.
I will be looking at the times over the summer and sending out information about Galas as soon as I can.

Please do try to go to this ñ itís a really good way of increasing times and seeing some really good swimming. Remember you have to be 9 or over to compete in a gala.
