New Treasurer Needed (posted 6/10/09)

As planned and with the towering achievement of Swim21 status gained for the club, working with others, under her belt Kate Cornwall-Jones is resigning as Treasurer to take things a bit easier and the club urgently needs to find a replacement Treasurer.

The job includes:

  • preparing an annual budget – updated during the year as necessary
  • book-keeping
  • banking (other committee members and Merle do some banking as well)
  • monitoring & financial planning
  • preparing annual accounts
  • arranging an independent inspection of the annual accounts

    • You do not need to be an accountant to perform this role and training and support can be arranged with the Community Accountancy Project
