Invitation to take part in the Big Sync a record breaking sychronised swim at London Fields Lido on Saturday 22 September.
There will be a mass rehearsal on Saturday 08 September from approximately 11am to 8pm. The first half of the session will be walk-through in a local sports hall and the swimming session will take place at London Fields Lido.
Clissold Swimming Club is delighted to announce our first synchronised swimming course to start on Wednesday 27th June.
The course is open to all our swimmers, including our junior swimmers AND masters swimmers on a first come first serve basis.The maximum no. of participants is 20. Participants will learn a 2 minute routinue that will be performed as part of the Big Sync on 22 September at the London Fields Lido. This event hopes set a new Guinness World Record for the largest mass participation synchronised swimming routine ever! Imagine, over 100 Londoners from across the capital performing a choreographed synchronised swimming routine. The Clissold SC training sessions will be run by Janna Callan from the ASA. The sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm at Kings Hall on the following dates:
- 27 June
- 04 July
- 11 July
- 18 July
- 05 September
A final session will take place at 6.30 pmto 8.00 pm on Friday 07 September.
Sessions will consist of awarm up session on poolside followed by trainining in the small teaching pool. Normaltraining sessions in the main pool will continue as usual for those who are not wishing to take part in the synchronised swimming course.

In order to participate in The Big Sync you must:
Be able to swim at least 100m continuously without taking a rest, be confident in deep water and happy to put your head underneath the water. If you are under 16 you must have parental consent. You must be fit andin good health and consent to immediate first aid treatment being given to you in an emergency. You must be willing to be photographed and filmed and be prepared for those images to appear within the media. You must have a great sense of creativity and fun!
